Mugdock country park – motorist advice

Police Scotland are warning motorists visiting Mugdock Country Park over the coming months to take every precaution possible to prevent thefts from motor vehicles left unattended at the country park. Handbags, purses, wallets and other valuable items must be removed from vehicles before they are left unattended.
Given the isolated nature of the car parks around Mugdock, thieves can easily operate undetected. In a number of cases visitors have hidden valuables in the boot of their vehicles only to find their cars broken into on their return.
Police and Mugdock Park Rangers increase patrols around the park during summer months. Please assist us by taking good care of your property whilst visiting Mugdock Country Park and do not become a victim of crime
